Dr. Martens Rebrand
This project was an assignment for my Branding and Identity Graphic Design course at UW-Madison, where we were asked to rebrand the visual identity of an established brand. For this assignment, I chose to rebrand Dr. Martens, as their product design is a very cohesive element of the brand and their visual identity could play into this more. For this assignment, I researched the history and elements of this brand and created an improved brand strategy that stayed true to the brand, but furthered it in a new and improved direction. After creating a new brand strategy and visual identity, I visually displayed this in Figma and presented it in class. The main thing I wanted to achieve in this project is creating a solid brand strategy with visuals that supported these ideas. It an extremely helpful exercise in presenting my work and working hypothetically with a real-life brand.
